The Campaign

You see that nice looking sign? That's mine. Yes, that is a campaign sign. I am running for city council in Provo. It is a crazy thing to do, but it can be a lot of fun. It takes lots of hard work and lots of money, but it's been worth it so far and I think I will win. This is one of the 30 4' x 8' signs I am putting up - this one located at 300 South and University Avenue at Bill Harris Music. I also have 500 small signs and 400 11"x17" window signs (let me know if you want a sign). I am running in district 5, which covers the central neighborhoods. There is one month left and still tons to do. I am out knocking doors all night and putting up signs all day (when I'm not trying to run my own business).

Business has been good. We are expanding. I now have 3 partners. One is a lawyer and works with me on business financing projects. One is a friend (named Adam also) who helps me with brokering a large bridge loan/hard money fund. The third is a neighbor and is helping me expand into wholesale brokering through another company, owned by a friend of mine. On my own, I do research and want to expand that part of the business. I have just completed a week and a half long research project for an Arizona company that needed market analysis research. They used my research to obtain funding for expansion of their business into Utah.

Anyway, things are crazy here, but we are having a great time. We pray that all the deals on the table go through and that I win the election. It is going to be a very intense month.

Be good you all.

Adam Clark
